Is it possible to map hot keys / shortcuts to a macro, so that it will run with one keyboard stroke?

Kind of

  1. Create a bookmark link to your macro

  2. Place the Kantu bookmark in your bookmark bar:

  3. You can now reach it with keystrokes - for example to select the 3rd Kantu bookmark you can do

  • F6 (address bar)
  • F6 again (bookmark bar)
  • Right arrow (2nd bookmark)
  • Right arrow again (3rd bookmark)
  • Enter - launches the Kantu macro.

shortcuts

Tip: Use BringBrowsertoForeground in your macro to hide the Kantu window.

As far as direct hotkeys go, Chrome and Firefox can not assign direct shortcuts to bookmarks (if this would work, it could be used for Kantu bookmarks as well).

Another solution is here: Activating bookmarks - #2 by admin

On Windows there is the option to trigger macros with global shortcut keys.
